Information for applicants on a Visa

J-1 clinical visas will be sponsored for applicants who are accepted into the program. Foreign medical graduates will need to have completed an ACGME-approved residency program in Internal Medicine in the US prior to beginning the program.

If you are currently on an ECFMG-sponsored visa and are accepted to the program, we will ask you to provide a copy of your USMLE score report at that time.

At this time we are not able to sponsor H-1 visas, but if you are in the process of obtaining your green card during the next year, you may wish to apply.

We value the diversity of our institution and our division, and we welcome and encourage applications from women and under-represented minorities.

If you have any specific questions about our program, please feel free to contact our fellowship coordinator.

Thank you,

Jon Resar, M.D.
